Friends w/strippers

How many guys out there think Strippers, and Prostitutes are the same thing?

They aren't of course, but there are exceptions to the rule. Which makes the streotype hard to get away from. Most Strippers are very driven people. They have college degrees, or are working on them. I'd say about 70% of them are also married, and happy to be so. They make quite a bit of money, for the hours they do work. Most of the time a four day work week, would be considered heavy. Sadly, Drugs do seem to be a part of the life too. I think this has to do with the age most Dancers begin now. They want to fit in, and look like they belong. It's funny, no one ever wants to be singled out, but everybody wants to be thought of as there own person.
Believe it or not, the Dancers at clubs, don't want to see you outside of there work. God for bid you see them in the real world, PLEASE, do not approach them. Wave so that they will see you, and let them wave you in or just wave hello. Very important, if you trully want to ever be friends with the girl, and not just the Dancer. Strippers are friendly people, who justhappen to dance naked for our amusement, and money of course.lol
You can become friends, true friends I mean with the dancers. I have many friends who are dancers. One reason for this, I can seperate the working persona, and the personal persona of the girls. Sometimes the girls don't really care for one another, so you try and keep those relations apart. Don't like being in the middle of those situations, and maybe being made to choose one friend over another. If you can remember to show RESPECT, observe BODY LANGUAGE, and LISTEN to what is being said, and maybe more importantly what isn't being said You can be friends with anybody.

If you can do the 3 things i just mentioned, not only will you become friends, but close friends. This works in the real world too by the way you just have to work it a little differently, because first you have to get her to talk with you. Grin. I hope this has helped define what dancers are, and are not. Hey they are people, treat them as such.

  1. People say that drugs are a big part of a stripper's world yet at all the other jobs I've had (mostly retail) I worked with just as many people who were using. I did not, however, work with as many educated/intelligent people as I do now in exotic dancing. Hmmm...
