Recently a blog was written by Nataliamno via Myspace., about Dolphin 2. In it She put the word out, how great the place looks and feels. How she enjoys going to work now. Then she asked us the, customers to chime it with our views, suggestions, etc.. I replied, with my likes and dislikes.
Anyway, to my surprise, many of the changes, suggested took place. It feels kind of like entering a fantasy world. The lights are colorful and moving, but not so as they blind you if you happen to look up. Who looks up to see the dancers anyway. joke. The flat areas surrounding the stages, now has reflective silver wall paper, with kind of a tiling design on them. On the stage near the poker machines, the lights have been moved. The dancers had to worry before about kicking them, if they went to high, and an even worse worry about kicking a customer if they went to low. Now the lights are off to the side a little, and not as glaring.
The DJ is very good too. The music volume is low with a sparse crowd as gets louder with the growth of the crowd. He isn't constantly badgering the clients to clap, and buy table/couch dances, he kind of plays with the dancers via the microphone, but thats his job. If you have an opportunity check out the Dolphin 2, it is no longer the cave it was. Drinks are on the expensive side, but the food is reasonable, and not bad.
